Join the celebrations at Fly Point Park Nelson Bay this December

The Fly Point - Halifax Park marine protected area is turning 40 and we welcome you to help us celebrate!

Come and enjoy a morning full of fun activities both above and below the water at Fly Point Park, Nelson Bay.

There will be everything from diving and live music, kids’ activities to marine ecologist talks.

A celebration is a great way for the family to learn more about what makes this marine protected area one of the most biodiverse and accessible shore-based dive and snorkel locations in NSW.

There will be stalls and activities conducted by DPI Fisheries, Port Stephens Council, Marine Rescue, Ocean Coastal Care Initiative, EcoNetwork Port Stephens, Newcastle University and more.
